Regardless of the type of turbine used, each installation requires periodic maintenance visits . During commissioning, it is crucial to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and safety components. This necessitates various shutdown procedures, including emergency shutdowns. The operator performs an annual inspection of the shutdown equipment. Then, each year after commissioning, they inspect the mounting components: tower, blades, and flanges. They also verify the safety instrumented systems annually. Wind farm maintenance must be carried out by qualified personnel trained in manufacturer procedures and the risks inherent to each type of wind turbine. Given the existing multi-brand wind farm, feedback from experience is essential for a thorough understanding of the potential hazards that can affect turbine operation.
