The tests conducted on two wind turbine principles during the 2018 season validated an effective solution able to withstand the extreme conditions of altitude. It is the horizontal axis technology that has been chosen for its effectiveness in the face of climatic conditions of altitude. The wind turbine with a capacity of 10 kW has proved its resistance to winds up to 130 km / h. The settings allow today an optimal exploitation. In mid-October 2019, SCV-Domaine skiable proceeded with the installation of a second wind turbine on the Prorel pass, near the first installed at the end of 2018.
